Dash of tobasco sauce

mix together

Dad's Granola

MASTER CHEF

Dana's Dad...

Calvin Durfey say's he's retired?

HA... But, we say ya right...

now his job includes lawn care,

tending the dog, vacumming, chauffer,

service work, book work, counselor

and most recently a chef...

Although, this was not his original recipe

we have made him famous

because he shared it with the girls at

Lazy Daisy Cottage

and now we are willing to share it with you...

Dad's Granola

2 cups oats
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
2 Tbsp whole flaxseed
1/4 c. canola oil
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c walnuts
1/4 c almonds
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour onto a cookie sheet, and bake in a 300 degree oven
30-40 min. stirring every ten minutes.
Let cool
Add dried fruits of your choice.
ENJOY!

When we heard she was leaving....

we decided it would be fun for each of the girls to sew her a block.

What we come up with was an adorable quilt that depicts each of our personalities.

Zannie will never forget us...nor us her

We had a fabulous lunch courtesy of our fearless leader, Dana...
Homemade Enchiladas and corn tortillas.

Zannie got many words of wisdom from all of us wise older women.
We had a fun party and zannie will be missed.
