Aprons with Ruffle pumpkin roll recipe

As promised the
Pumpkin Roll Recipe

Pumpkin Roll
1cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
2/3 cup mashed pumpkin
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Filling
8 oz. cream cheese softened
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat ove to 350. Grease a jelly roll pan 15x10. Cut wax paper to fit leave an inch overhang on the short ends. Lightly grease wax paper and sides of pan.
Mix all cake ingredients except nuts together pour over wax paper. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake for 14-15 minutes until edges pull away.
On a clean dishtowel dust a layer of powdered sugar. When cake is done remove and place upside down on tea towel. Peel gently the wax paper starting on the short ends. While cooling mix the filling. When cool spread filling over the roll and re-roll then refridgerate. Cover with plastic or wax paper.
HOT FUDGE SAUCE
1 cube butter
1 sq. baking chocolate unsweetened
1 cup sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Combine all ingredients and heat stir on low to med until sugar disolved and sauce in thick about 4-5 minutes.

Steamed Carrots with Pepper Peach Glaze




A delicious side dish for the holidays.
Boil and cook carrots to fork tender and salt.
Drain remove from heat. Place back in pan and top with 2-3 Tbsp Hot Pepper Peach Preserves
1 -2 Tbsp. butter and 1-2 Tbsp brown sugar. Add more sugar or Preserves to taste!
