Christmas Celebration

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER?


The table is set the food is cooking,
just waiting for the guests to arrive!

The MOST WONDERFUL time of the YEAR!

Lazy Daisy Cottage Party
Christmas is the time to spend
around the table surrounded with
good food and friends having fun together.
We have included the recipes
for a great menu for you to enjoy
this Holiday Season.


Pear and Walnut Salad
1 package mixed greens
1/2 head romaine lettuce washed and chopped
2-3 pears sliced thin
1/2 cup candied walnuts
Place walnuts in shallow fry pan cover with sugar heat stirring constantly til sugar melts and sticks to nuts
gorgonza cheese or blue chees crumbles
Mix 2/3 part of raspberry dressing
1/3 part light balsamic dressing

Stuffed Mushrooms
1 pound sausage
Brown sausage and add the following
2-4 ounces cream cheese
2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp chopped spinach
sprinkle fresh basil
Mix with sausage and stuff mushrooms
Bake at 375 for 20 min til tender and juicy!

Rye Bread Toasties

1 package rye bread cocktail bread
1/2lb. bacon chopped and fried
2-3 green onions
1 small can sliced olives
4-6 fresh mushrooms chopped
1 cup swiss cheese grated
1/2-3/4 cup mayo ( enough to spread)
Place large scoop on each slice of bread.
Place on baking tray
heat oven t0 375
bake for 15 -20 minutes
til hot, bubbly and toasty!

Green Beans with Mushrooms
1 package fresh green beans (costco)
1 package fresh mushrooms
1 clove fresh garlic
1/3 cup butter
Season with salt and pepper,
sprinkle of Vegeta or Chicken Boullion Powder
Cook green bean til crisp tender.
Drain.
Saute garlic in butter
add mushrooms
toss with green beans and
top with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese!

Chicken Dunn Right
(recipe from our famous Becky Dunn hence the name)
4-6 chicken breasts
1 bottle chili sauce
2 tsp. curry
1 pint cream
Marinate chicken in chili sauce with curry for at least an hour.
Bake at 35o for 30 minutes.
Add 1 pint of cream and bake an additional 20 minutes.
Serve over Pasta Noodles.
Delicious!
Do not underestimate
such a simple recipe its a winner!
