HERE IT IS...
One of our bloggers got the answer....
BANANAS...

they don't mean ROTTEN Bananas.
These were my daughters
contribution to the recipe
for banana cookies...
great if we wanted to get rid of somebody...
Oh! YA I SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT
ABOUT THIS SOONER
I CAN THINK OF A NAME
I COULD SERVE MY DELICIOUS COOKIES TOO...
.HAHA
If you were the winner
and posted the comment

Our newest creation using layer cakes,
charms and our original die-cut scallop.

Our pattern will be available

The Flower Affair (Cheater)
"It's cheating just not illegal or immoral!"

Stitch layer cakes in rows
then add the charm squares
which are glued in place
along with the scallops.
It becomes a raw edge look.
Then add borders and
bring it in to machine quilt
and stitch squares and flowers in place.

Everything in the pieced center is pre-cut.
This quilt is queen size.

and had a chemical reaction
and had to get them removed
after going to the clinic with chemical burns
all over her neck, face, and eyes
which were oozing...
Why you ask would she try nails again....
VANITY!

Apron with Ruffle
and matching Bow!

Lay tea towel out
and cut away the template
from the sides.
Roll the sides under twice
to finish edge and topstitch.

Cut Strip for Top Ruffle 4 1/2" wide
finish edges on all sides
double roll and top stitch.
Stitch down the center
with gather stitch.
Gather up to fit in place
see later in tutorial...

Cut Lower Ruffle 12 1/2" WOF
( width of Fabric)
Place wrong sides together
and stitch sides 1/4"
to finish edges turn right side out
and gather top.
Use a gather stitch or method
using cording see below.
Simply place DMC #8
or other thick floss
1/8" from edge and zigzag stitch over.
Make sure you make several knots
when you begin
so it doesn't pull through.
When you get to the end
pull cording
and this ensures
your gather stitch doesn't break.

TOP RUFFLE STITCHED ON

Make sure you adjust the length
of the apron
before you stitch lower ruffle on.
I cut about 3" off
I prefer a shorter apron
well and lets be honest...
I AM SHORT.
haha
Pin Lower Ruffle to fit bottom of apron
Stitch ruffle on front side of apron.
You will place ric rac
to finish the seam.
That way the underside of the apron
is finished.

RIC RAC
is pinned in place
then top stitch.
I top stitched both sides
you can do whatever you prefer.

MAKING THE STRAPS
AND TIES

Cut 3 strips 2" wide
of cooridinating fabric
Press all sides 1/4" in
with right side down.
Then bring to match sides
and top stitch
with right side out.
Remember to cut one of the strips
in half for the top of the apron.
Straps folded and ready to top stitch.
Stitch in place on on each side
and one on each side
on the top of the apron
for the tie around the neck.

RUFFLE PILLOWCASE

Our new idea
to make the ruffle edge
on the pillowcase.
Then you could make it into a dress.
This is a new fun idea.
Follow the photos below
to make the ruffle bottom.

Cut the Pillowcase 27"
Then cut two strips 10" wide.
Stitch two strips together
to make one continuous strip.
To ruffle take a spool of heavy thread
we use DMC floss no. 8
Tie a triple knot on the end
where you will begin sewing.
Do a zigzag stitch
running the thread down the middle.
Keeep close to the edge.
Repeat the process on both sides of ruffle.

Both sides are ruffled.

Then take the thread and pull to gather up.
Gather both ends.
Lay ruffle right side up
and place pillowcase on top
with right side up with the 27"
running parallel to yourself.
Pin in place.
Then bring up the ruffle again
and roll the pillowcase up like to old pattern.

We are showing you
to bring the ruffle up and around.

Pin all layers.

Stitch in place.

Pull the case right side out.

Open up and press stitch
with right sides out 1/4" seam
across top and side then press
and turn right side out.
Sitich with right sides together 5/8".
This makes the french seam.
