Dana Brooks, the cottage's owner, keeps everyone updated on the Flyers' postseason successes.
Her daughter- in- law, Kim Brooks, is the pitcher.
Kim has quite a story... She missed out on her Jr. season to get married and have a baby... she is a perfect example of how your dreams in life don't have to end. She has shown everyone that when life throws a curve ball what is important is how you square up to the plate and SWING!
She is ranked as one of the best pitchers in the state and last week showed her stuff, by pitching 2 perfect games... NO HITTERS!Here she is with her biggest fans... husband, Brayden and son, Bentley!
She knew that getting married her Junior Year of High School would mean making sacrifices, but with the support of her family, friends, and a great team... her story is one to be remembered!
