Each kit has pre-cut squares for backgrounds and the corner blocks to create the circles.

Keep the blacks for the circle pieces
Background squares
Trace the template from the pattern...
For the black pieces add 1/4"seam from the traced line
For the background cut out template same size as pattern.
Mark each template

Background is smaller template
and the circle is 1/4" bigger.
Note the corner circle piece
has the 1/4" seam allowance.




Lay each template on one corner and
trace with removal pen
then cut away excess fabric.
Background is large piece and corner
blocks are the small corner circle pieces.



Trace on background and cut away corner...

Clip curves less than 1/4" on both background

and black corner circle piece.

Begin stitching lining up the beginning corner.

Continue stitching keeping seams lined up.

remember right sides together!

Ease the corner piece to fit background....
So final seam line up.

Now you have the corner sewn on to the background

without any hand applique.

Turn right side out and press with black corner circle piece press toward the dark...

Remember tools help all quilting techniques and the pen is amazing.
